Day 5: Etosha – Opuwo (Kaokoland)

Breakfast prepared by the team.
The journey through the western part of the Etosha Reserve is exceptional. After leaving the great plains of Etosha, the trail heads due west along a forested region of tall Mopane trees. You’ll visit numerous watering holes and discover the mountainous terrain before leaving the reserve at the Otjovasandu post. This part of the park is reserved exclusively for guests staying at the Dolomite Camp. Picnic lunch, then drive to Opuwo, in the Kaokoland region, in Himba land. The landscapes change with more rugged terrain.
Dinner prepared by the team. Overnight at the Opuwo Lodge campsite.
Transfer: approximately 480 km, approximately 5.5 hours drive
